Tiistaina, elokuuta 18, 2015. Meidän talo- lehti Metsolassa ja pikavisiitti meilläkin. Eräänä päivänä loppukeväästä sain puhelun Meidän Talo lehdestä. Ajattelin, että ovat kauppaamassa sitä minulle ja olin jo keksimäisilläni selityksiä, miksi en tarvitse sitä. He olivatkin tekemässä juttua Seinäjoella, melkein naapurissamme, kaveriperheellämme. Toinen päätti sitten muuttaa Turkkiin tai Ameriikkaan nyt heti illalla. Suostui kuitenkin jäämään kotosuomeen ja om.
Ravintolapäivä on karnevaali ravintola- ja ruokakultturin puolesta. Suomesta alkunsa saanut Ravintolapäivä on neljä kertaa vuodessa, noin kolmen kuukauden välein. Ravintolapäivän ytimessä on yhdessä tekeminen, nauttiminen ja ilonpito! Moni ravintola on hemmotellut asiakkaitaan ruoan lisäksi mm. musiikilla, performansseilla ja muilla elämyksillä. Tapahtuma on levinnyt kymmeniin kaupunkeihin ja houkutellut mukaan kaiken.

We played on a playground, checked out an amazing view of the mountains from Bullock Overlook, took some fun pictures, and went hiking.
